Ujjain : Two city youths were compelled to pay Rs 5 lakh to a racket allegedly involving lady police officer her brother and one family. Victim youths lodged a written complaint at Chimanganj Mandi police station on Monday.
The fraudsters duped the two aspirant youths by promising them jobs in state police. This alleged new racket of constable recruitment allegedly consist of a DSP rank officer posted in Police headquarters of Bhopal her brother and local duo of father and son.
The victims Dharmendra Jaiswal a resident Pachore and Gajendra Ahirwar of Guna were in city for past 2 years preparing for police constable examination. According to the information received a local youth named as Fasil son of Sadiq Ansari a resident of Dhancha Bhawan met with the youths during their morning ruining sessions in August 2013 and developed a friendship with them. Time being Fasil started brainwashing youths in name of bribery and corruption, by telling them you are wasting time and energy, money rules everywhere.
When the youths were somewhat convinced, he told them of his high approach in police headquarters, saying her god sister, DSP Usha Gurjar is posted in PHQ and has high approach, she can guarantee their selection. Later on August 15 Dharmendra and Gajendra were taken to Bhopal by Fasil and his father Sadiq at Usha Gurjar’s residence of B-001, Shalimar Parisar, where Usha along with her brother Kamal Gurjar who himself pretended to be a Congress leader, talked to the youths, luring them deeper in their net.
The deal was settled on Rs 5 lakh per head, with guaranteed selection in upcoming constable recruitment exam of Decemeber-2013. Further on 13 September 2013 the DSP and her brother Kamal reached to Ujjain and took Rs 5 lakhs in hard cash from the youths, Rs 2.5 per head in advance. The deal was settled and youths were assured of their selection.
Later they appeared in examinations in December-2013, results too came out but their names were nowhere to be seen in the selection list. The youths then realised that they have been duped. Later the youths from then tried to contact the DSP Gurjar, her brother who posed as Congress leader, Fasil and his father, but only got Rs 55 thousand from Kamal Gurjar.
A barriers were breached when the youth on August 30 again contacted Gurjar for rest Rs 4.5 lakh, Kamal threatened him for life by telling him of his approach and power. The youths on this lodged complaint with police. SI Kushwah, investigation officer was not available for a comment on the moment. Despite repeated efforts the alleged DSP, Usha Gurjar and his family and other accused could not be contacted.
