Ujjain : With the chanting of the couplets from Yajurveda, Bhumi-Pujan of the venue of Vaicharik Mahakumbh was held at village Ninora on Indore Road on Monday.
The grand religious conference to contemplate upon the ideologies of Simhastha Mahakumbh will be held on May 12, 13 and 14 during Simhastha Fair. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest of the valedictory function while the RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat will inaugurate the conference. The idea behind hosting the splendid convention is to extract thoughts for world peace, people’s welfare and self intuition. A team of Special Protection Group from Delhi also visited the site later in connection with security arrangements.
Central Simhastha Fair Organising Committee Chairman Makhan Singh and district in-charge Minister Bhupendra Singh performed the rites of Bhumi-Pujan under the guidance of Pt Gourav Upadhyay, Mohan Tiwari and Narayan Tiwari. BJP organising general secretary Rakesh Dagor, Dr Avadheshpuri, Mayor Meena Jonwal, Collector Kavindra Kiyawat, Simhastha Fair Authority Chairman Diwakar Natu, Babulal Jain, Pradeep Pandey, Iqbal Singh Gandhi, MLA Mohan Yadav, Vibhash Upadhyaya and rural people were present.
