Ujjain : The flames of Mahidpur mark-sheet scam reached the house of School Education Minister Paras Jain on Friday.
All the victim students of fake mark sheet scam reached the house of Minister Jain and staged a sit in front of his house. The students were backed by former MLA and now AAP functionary Kalpana Parulekar. Parulekar took the students to the house of Minister Jain and staged the sit in. For long time the students shouted slogans in front of Jain’s house and blocked the way. Later Minister Jain came out and assured of action to the students, but the unrelenting students refused to move from the spot. Police force was called on the spot, who forcibly removed the children protesting.
One Santosh Chhajlani, the owner of Mahidpur Academy School, of the same area, who used to run a fake CBSE affiliated school in the region, duped around 22 students of standard X. All the children were students of the school and had taken a fake examination this year. Now the helpless children are protesting for their loss and are demanding mark sheets. The local administration also took cognizance of the issue and has permitted the student to sit them in a local English medium school. The education department has also been made aware of the situation while the accused is still absconding.
