Fire accident averted

Ujjain : Severe fire accident was averted when fire broke out due to short circuit at the oxygen cylinder room was timely doused off by the hospital staff at Pushpa Mission Hospital on Thursday. Fire was spotted by the staff when all of a sudden flames started coming out of the oxygen cylinder room around 1.30 pm. Staff quickly turned off the nozzle of oxygen cylinder and doused off the fire by fire extinguisher cylinders. One water lorry of fire brigade also reached at the spot but till then fire had been doused off. Director of the hospital, Father Anthony informed that around 10 high capacity oxygen cylinders were kept in the room fortunately fire was doused off by the swift response of the staff.
