Shah to hold meeting

State Tribal Welfare and District Minister In- charge Vijay Shah will address a meeting related to admission of SC- ST students in engineering and medical college. It will be held on September 19 at 10 am at Pt SN Vyas memorial cultural center.

Decision opposed

The Western Railway Employees Union, Ratlam Division, has opposed the decision of higher authorities to compel the loco pilot and guards to run mail express and passenger trains. An emergency meeting of the organization, which was held on Saturday under the chairmanship of former MLA Rajendra Bharati, passed a resolution in this regard.

According to branch secretary, SS Sharma, the meet also resolved to aggravate its agitation in protest against shifting of Running Headquarters from Ujjain to Indore.

Preparatory meetings held

The Madhav Nagar Block Congress Committee and Ujjain Lok Sabha unit of the Youth Congress organised separate meetings to take on record various preparations in view of the proposed district level sit- in agitation against deplorable condition of roads. Ajit Singh Thakur and Vivek Yadav chaired these meetings, respectively.

13% DA demanded

The MP State Employees Association has demanded the government to immediately release the pending 13 percent dearness allowance installment. This was informed by Associations office- bearers including Deepak Purohit, Anokhilal Sharma and Manohar Giri.
