Ujjain : A Dewas based married man consumed poison at farming lands near village Ninora under Nanakheda police circle. It is said that the youth was in love affair with a girl, but had failed in the love affair and depressed over this he consumed poison, ending his life.
Deceased was identified as Pappu (30) son of Hariprasad Jogi, a resident of Fali village in Dewas district. The deceased was married and was father of one child. Passersbye informed Nanakheda police, stating a dead body is lying in open fields near village Ninora. The police rushed to the spot immediately and recovered the body sealing the area. Police recovered voter ID card, contact diary from the body. Police also recovered the poison bottle and clothes near the dead body. The deceased must have died painfully as he had removed all his clothes and was found in half naked condition. Police said a two page suicide note was found from the clothes of the deceased, which revealed the failed love affair with a girl named as Shivani.
During identification police contacted his brother in law Gattu Singh, who lives nearby in Karohan village, who confirmed the deceased as Pappu. Gattu Singh said Pappu was a teacher at Jai Hind Public School of Dewas. Sources revealed that the deceased had an altercation after his duty on Saturday. ASI RP Tiwari said, the body has been sent to Civil Hospital for a postmortem. “We have registered a case under Section 174 of the CrPC, new offences will be registered according to postmortem report and investigation…however, prima facie, it is a case of suicide,” he added.
