Ujjain : An exhibition on light and particle was organized at Vikram University (VU) on the third day of Light and Particle Week under the aegis of Center of Advance Technology, here on Thursday.
Scientist of Raja Ramanna Center for Advance Technology, Indore Apollo Kasliwal delivered a special lecture on light and particle at Golden Jubilee Auditorium of VU here on Thursday. He gave precious information about the origin of the universe. He also described the fundamental particles to students. How the accelerators are used to study the origin of the universe was told to students. He also highlighted the use of accelerator Indus-1and Indus-2 at Raja Ramanna Center for Advance Technology. Kasliwal also talked about synchrotron radiation sources, laser technology developed at RRCAT.
Amlendu Sharma of RRCAT, Indore delivered his lecture on the sources of synchrotron radiation. He also quenched the curiosities of students while they visited the exhibition.
Students from varsity departments and colleges who witnessed scientific modals like use of electron discovery, creation of colours through disconnected power transfer AD current, wire cutting fibre article, etc. Essay, drawing and quiz competitions will be organised at 11 am on Friday.
