Ujjain : An exhibition was conducted at police community hall to mark the International Day against Drug Addiction, here on Friday. SP MS Verma, DSP Traffic Bhupendra Singh and convener of Jagrati Nasha Mukti Kendra Vinod Dave, director of Uma Public Welfare Committee Anokhilal Underi, police station conveners of community policing and members of Village Security Committee were present. Director of Kala Pathak Dal, Shailendra Bhatt and members imparted a message to public to remain away from drug abuse by presenting folksongs.
Likewise, cadets of 10-MP NCC battalion took out a rally against the drug abuse and illicit human trafficking here on International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. Commanding officer RD Talukdar administered oath to the cadets, to shun the use of drugs in their life. NCC officer Hemant Telang informed that cadets from Model Higher Secondary School, Government School Dussehra Maidan and Government Girls Degree College participated.
