Ujjain : Kotwali police has arrested an absconding accused in the case of loot with a villager resident of Khachrod.
ASP Amrendra Singh while addressing a press conference on Tuesday informed that an unknown miscreant in the guise of dropping villager Shakil Khan from his bike to the railway station had looted Rs 2000 and a mobile phone from victim on the night of August 7. Victim had registered the complaint of same in Kotwali police station and informed about the incomplete number of the bike. On this clue police arrested Parvej Shah resident of Nayapura on the suspicion.
During strict interrogation Parvej, who is a MSW graduate, confessed the crime and police confiscated the bike used in the loot. Parvej has also confessed his involvement in another theft which had occurred with an old man three days before near Alkapuri. In the Alkapuri case accused Parvej also confessed about the involvement of his accomplice Dharmendra Bhoi who is a habitual offender. Police has been interrogating Bhoi and informed that more case could also be demystified on the basis of information received from Bhoi.
