Ujjain : The ambitious project of State government, Property E-Stamping and E-Registration was launched in Ujjain on Monday. The project has been launched in five districts of the State in form of pilot project. All registries related to immovable properties of Ujjain tehsil will be done through new system.

Service providers have been appointed. There are various provisions of security for E-Stamping. Beneficiaries can get information for how many times the plot or other properties have been resold. The new system will also check the fake registration of properties. MLA Mohan Yadav was chief guest while Mayor Rameshwar Akhand and Collector Kavindra Kiyawat were also present on this occasion. Addressing on this occasion MLA Yadav said that it is a new genre that we are having e-registration for property. The new procedure will work in proecting the rights of common man. He also talked about a revolutionary step taken by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan according to which architects would approve maps of plots below the area of 2400 square feet.

Mayor Rameshwar Akhand presiding over the programme said that the district has witnessed the historical change in stamping and registration of property. The pilot project will give fruitful results and it will be implemented across the nation. Collector Kiyawat suggested registration department to be alert for any kind of trespassing with documents. The new system will be able to increase revenue of the government and will preserve the rights of public. A helpdesk is available for any kind of query related to e-registration. Guests handed over the registry prepared through e-stamping to beneficiaries on this occasion.
