Ujjain: Divisional Commissioner ( DC) and Ujjain Development Authority ( UDA) Chairman, AK Pandey will conduct inspection of development works being continue in the city at 11 am on Saturday. DC Pandey will also chair a review meeting with officials concerned after the inspection of sites where the development works are in progress.
After assuming the office of UDA Chairman, it will be the first visit of Divisional Commissioner Pandey of the development works being done in the city by UDA. According to UDA Chief Executive Officer Shivendra Singh, UDA has been working on projects worth Rs 40 crore at present.
DC will visit development works underway in Triveni and Kshipra Vihar. UDA is making efforts to accomplish the construction works of EWS houses and Substation before or on time.
Four other projects including transport nagar, Sawrakhedi, Lalpur Hamukhedi, Shakarwasa and Triveni Vihar extension will also be put before DC. UDA is also working on Nandi Hall extension at Mahakaleshwar temple premises. Singh told that Nandi Hall extension will be accomplished till May 2014. The hall built at the temple will be handed over to the Temple Management on the occasion of Mahashivratri.
Nandi hall is being extended considering extra capacity of devotees during Simhastha Fair 2016. UDA will spend Rs 2.5 crore on this project.
