Customers suffer as bank employees go on strike

Ujjain : All the PSU Bank employees of the town on the call of United Forum of Bank Union in support of their demands went on two day strike in the city on Monday. Bank employees gathered at Tower Chowk and took out a protest rally.

Customers had to undergo lot of trouble due to strike as most of the bank branches were locked on Monday. Bank employees went on strike in demand of pay hike on Monday. Transaction worth crores of rupees got affected on the first day of the strike.

Union convener US Chhabra addressing to employees said that they demanded 30 percent hike in salary. The protest rally began from Tower Chowk and passed through different city routes. Narmada Jhabua Rural Bank Employees Association also supported the strike.
