Taking the action against the patwari forward, Lok Ayukta police on Saturday searched for the bank accounts of Vishwapremi which are supposed to be around Rs 7 lakh as per the details of his bank passbooks re

covered during the raid. Due to banksalt39busy schedule, his accounts will be checked on Monday.

Notably, sleuths of Lok Ayukta police on Friday had raided the house of patwari, OP Vishwapremi, and unearthed property worth Rs 1.75 crore including some valuable watches and other items. According to Lok Ayukta DSP OP Sagoriya, papers of large immovable properties of Vishwapremi have been found which could have been earned through corrupt practices. The amount of Rs 7 lakh which was found in pass- books of his bank accounts in 6 different banks will be unearthed on Monday during investigation.

Banks were asked to reveal the account summary of Vishwapremi, but due to busy schedule of banks, the accounts will be opened on Monday.

Moreover, it was revealed that patwari has several plots and agriculture land in his and his wifes name in the city and outside.

For collecting the further information regarding his immovable assets, Lok Ayukta team reached his residence situated at Bagpura again on Saturday. A written correspondence has been done with Collector M Geetha for the suspension of patwari.
