Ujjain: With 18 more persons testing positive, the number of Corona patients in the district reached 3,575 on Saturday. No death was reported on the day and the toll remained on 96. Two- government servants and factory workers and one each student, policemen, bank/ financial institution/ insurance employee are among the new patients.
As per the medical bulletin issued at 11 pm, out of 1,041 sample reports received on the day, 18 persons including 10 from Ujjain city and 7 from Nagda and 1 from Ghattia were tested corona positive. 9 women are among the new patients and they all are symptomatic. A number of the new patients have been put under home quarantine.
Overall 183 patients, 62 of them symptomatic, are undergoing treatment now. Samples of 1, 08, 834 persons have been taken across the district so far and no report is awaited. With 18 more discharged on the day, the total number of corona winners has gone up to 3,296.
