Cop’s wife loses jewelry worth Rs 3 lakh

Ujjain : Durgesh, wife of Devendra Parihar lost her jewelry items worth Rs 3 lakhs during a commute inside Tata Magic here on Sunday. Devendra is constable with the police and is posted at 32 battalion campus. Madhav Nagar police said the victim Durgesh had hired a Tata Magic to reach railway station and left her home with luggage and jewelry bag, midway she stopped at Mahashakti Nagar to take her mother to Indore, in between she left the bag inside the taxi and alighted to get her mother. The duo later reached the railway station and left for Indore. The alleged theft was revealed at Indore, when Durgesh checked her belongings to wear them in the marriage, she was in Indore to attend. Which she was unable to found inside the bag, after reaching Ujjain she lodged a complaint with police. The police are now interrogating the magic driver.
