A constable of police of Bhopal lost his leg when he accidentally fell down in an attempt to board a moving train at Vidisha railway station on Sunday evening.

al. According to the TI of GRP police station Vidisha, the victim was identified as Virendra Singh Raghuvanshi, a constable at DRP Lines Bhopal. He fell down while boarding Punjab Mail while the train was leaving the platform at
about 4.30 pm. His leg went between train and platform and was detached from the bod. He has been admitted to government hospital, he added.
Auto- driver booked for thrashing wife
The Bairagarh police on Sunday registered a harassment case against an auto driver for allegedly beating his wife after she objected on his affair with another woman.
The police informed, a resident of Baba Ramdev Mandir area, Geeta was allegedly manhandled by her husband Sanjay Chandel. An auto driver Chandel was in an illicit relation with another woman and used to come home late in the night. On Saturday night Sanjay again assaulted his wife when she objected on coming late in the night.
Fed up of the harassment, Geeta made a complaint against Sanjay at Bairagarh police station. The police registered a case against Sanjay and is looking out for him.
Thieves strike at lawyers place
Thieves decamped with cash and valuables worth several lakhs from a lawyers house in Piplani area. The lawyer was out of the City and his neighbor informed the police of the incident. The police said, a resident of Khajuri Kala, Advocate Pradeep Dubey had gone to Jabalpur with his family to attend a funeral. Getting their chance, the thieves entered the house after breaking the door and made off with cash and other valuables.
