Ujjain: A complainant who approached Jan Sunwai to get his problem redressed had to pay for his frequent visits to the officials, here on Tuesday. The man was booked under Section 151 of IPC by Madhav Nagar police.

Complainant Manguram, 52, resident of Piploda village arrived here to attend weekly Jan Sunwai at Kothi Palace on Tuesday morning. Manguram had been frequently visiting Jan Sunwai regarding his two bigha land located near Bhagwati Mata temple of Piploda village since 2002. Even the officials were irritated over his repeated visits to Jan Sunwai.

Manguram approached the Jan Sunwai of Divisional Commissioner ( DC) AK Pandey on Tuesday. DC sent him to City Magistrate Shyamendra Jaiswal. Manguram was made to sit there for one hour and later handed over to Madhav Nagar police by calling a PCR van.

Police booked Manguram under Section 151of IPC and he was pressurised to sign the papers, but he denied signing them. According to him, he also applied for redressal of land issue at Samadhan Online of CM. Even CM issued directives to officials for resolving his problem. In 2008, Collector resolved the issue regarding his two bigha land, but the land was neither measured not mutated yet. It does not seem that Mangulal will ever get justice.

DC resolved about 16 complaints during Jan Sunwai on Tuesday. Mohammad Rafi Rhela, a local resident made a complaint that Peace Committee had done partiality with him. Collector was asked to look into the matter. Additional Collector Indira Sharma, Joint Collector RP Tiwari and SDMs RS Meena and Rohan Saxena heard about 57 complaints during the Jan Sunwai. SP Anurag Kumar also resolved about 26 complaints during Jan Sunwai.
