Ujjain : The Simhastha Fair-2016 authorities have launched their highly innovative ‘pre-mortem exercise’ with Divisional Commissioner Ravindra Pastor on Thursday talking to each sector officer of Zone-1 (Kaalbhairav Zone) to know their activities with regard to Plan-A, B and C.
Out of six zones christened under the fair area, Kaalbhairav zone has been earmarked as Zone-1, which comprises of 3 sectors including Siddhvat, Kaalbhairav and Garhkalika. Senior officers of various departments have been made zonal officers and sectors officers have also been deputed by each department. Commissioner, who conducted the weekly stand-up meeting recently at the Kaalbhairav Zone, again organised his daily stand-up meeting in the same zone on Thursday.
Pastor stopped few senior officials of different departments when they tried to put information with regard to their preparedness before him during the meeting instead of the concerned zone and sector officers. The Divisional Commissioner wanted to gauge the passion of such field officers vis-à-vis arrangements for the mega event. He started querying issues like number of flower vendors, length and breadth of approach roads to temples, which are generally neglected.
Pastor made it clear that he has no personal reservations against anybody, but he would try his level best to boost team spirit among the cadres. “There will be dynamic situation and we cannot fix anything… we are flexible to everybody,” he remarked. “Payments to the contractors will be made on the basis of consumer satisfaction card…there will be biometric attendance of every employee…we will have contingency plan to avoid stamped, eve teasing, law and order problem,” he told the deputed employees during one-to-one meeting.
