Ujjain : Senior congressman of the city, Sheshnarayan Vyas was arrested by Neelganga police on Saturday on the allegation of selling plots on the land reserved for garden in Subhash Nagar colony. Police produced Vyas in local court from where court gave two days remand to the police.
Vyas is renowned colonizer of the city and complaint was registered against him in Neelganga police station in 2014. After meticulous investigation on the complaint, few days ago police registered the FIR under Section 420 of IPC against Vyas on the allegation of selling plots on the land reserved for garden in the colony. Police action one of the top colonizers of the city created sudden panic among other colonizers against whom several cases of land grabbing and discrepancies were pending in police stations.
