Ujjain  : Charity kitchens located at the pandals in Mahakal Zone will commence from Wednesday. The charity kitchens have been sanctified by applying the paste of cow dung and cow urine. Thousands of saints and visitors arriving at the fair will have food at these Anna Kshetras.

 Mahakal zonal magistrate Avadhesh Sharma has been on regular inspection of different sectors nowadays. He ensures all the concerns of saints should be resolved in front of his eyes. Charity kitchens setup at the different pandals and Akharas will start functioning from Wednesday. Sector magistrates were directed to take care of the health of the saints of their sectors. Temporary dispensaries and hospitals have been founded at the sectors. Health staff was told to have a sufficient stock of medicines to deal with any untoward incident.

 Sharma visited the plot of Saint Pradeep Singh located on Narsing Ghat on Lalpul Road and observed the water supply, cleaning and toilets facility. On finding the leaking tap at the plot, concerned staff was told to stop wasting of water. During the visit to Chintaman Ganesh sector, he sought details of the services managed at the sector. Officials were asked to visit the pandals to examine the health of saints. 116 staff members were found absent at their workplace at the zone on Monday.
