Are we all corrupts? Already crossed with Vice Chancellor, heads of teaching departments went mad at Vice Chancellor Prof Rajkamal when he dubbed Prof RC Sharma to be the only honest person in the varsity. While attempting to convince Sharma for
accepting CET organizing committee chairmanship, Rajkamal reportedly told Sharma that he was the only honest person in the university and that he should take charge of CET. This statement leaked to some HoDs who expressed their annoyance. ‘If Sharma is the only honest man here, then we all are corrupts. Rajkamal should be taught a lesson for this insult,’an HoD told another in anguish. The latter told the former he would get the lesson once he is out of V- C office. ‘Lets wait for right time to come,’the other HoD said.
DAVV may have to wait a little more The delay in announcement of new vice chancellors name has strengthened the belief that the DAVVs wait for new VC could stretch a little longer. The campus is abuzz with this belief and teachers and officers have started talking about the reason behind the delay. ‘Ialt39m sure that the delay is being due to dislike of the names suggested for vice chancellor post. The Governor may ask the VC search panel to come up with new names,’an HoD told some of his subordinates who agreed to him. One of the subordinates claimed that he had confirmed information from his sources in Raj Bhawan that the Governor would reject the names recommended for VC post on Monday. ‘By Tuesday, the search panel members would direct to come up with new names,’he added.
