Ujjain : A vehicle procession from Mahakaleshwar to Boreshwar Mahadev was taken out to mark the festival of Mahashivratri here on Monday. Hundreds of devotees accompanied the procession hailing the lords’ Lord Shiva. BJP district president Shyam Bansal was chief guest who flagged off the procession and praised the efforts of MLA Mohan Yadav who put his endeavours to rejuvenate the ancient temples of mythological importance. MLA Yadav in his address said that it was the extreme enthusiasm of devotees that they joined the procession sparing their valuable time. Yadav with his wife performed worship of Lord Mahakal and collected the holy water in a Kalash from Koti Tirtha Kund located at the temple premise. Devotees joined the procession in more than 500 two wheelers and 20 four wheelers holding saffron flags at the procession. The procession was welcomed at various points.
