Ujjain : Bhoomi Pujan for an eye hospital was organised at Hasampura village here on Saturday. The hospital will be constructed on 11,000 square feet land by Shri Laksminarayan Dev Medical Research Foundation and would be christened Shri Swami Narayan Eye Hospital.
Patients suffering from serious eye ailments would be treated in the hospital free of cost. For this noble cause, Government Madhav College’s Prof Alpana Bhatt and her husband Kamlesh Bhatt donated three bighas to Medical Research Foundation. Non-resident Indians from United States namely Ramesh Patel, Dr Supen Patel and Sadum Ameen will bear the cost of construction and hospital.
Swami Ghanshyam Das, Anandjiwan Das, Swami Durgadas, Asanganand Maharaj, Rawal Baba and devotees from America were present on the occasion. Head of Central Committee of Simhastha Makhan Singh Chouhan, MLA Mohan Yadav, chairman of Ujjain Development Authority Jagdish Agrawal, Collector Sanket Bhondve, Municipal Speaker Sonu Gehlot, Diwakar Natu, Iqbal Singh Gandhi and Ramlal Malviya were present as special guests. Vibhash Upadyay conducted the programme and expressed gratitude.
