IG ( police) Shailendra Shrivatava, colletor Nikunj Shrivastava, SSP Adarsh Katiyar, SP Yogesh Chaudhary and others were present in the meeting.

He also instructed the officials to remain cautious while filing cases under the National Security Act ( NSA).

To maintain law and order, it is necessary for the police and district officials to keep a close vigil.

He further said criminals were involved in incidents of communal violence.

” Therefore, our efforts should be to understand their motive and foil it,” he said.

The officials should have direct communication with the people, which is a must for maintaining law and order.” SSP Adarsh Katiyar instructed SHOs to convey the guidelines and instructions of the commissioner and IG ( police) to head constables and constables.
