Ujjain: Anti-human trafficking cell is very helpful in investigating the crime occurs with women and kids. Woman and child development, health department, labour department and NGO play vital role in the cell. This was informed by Cell incharge ASP rural Pankaj Srivastava during a meeting of human trafficking held at Awantika Auditorium here on Monday.
Members of Anti-Human Trafficking cell including SP Anurag Kumar, AJAK SP Seema Alawa, DSP SR Nayak, Neena Upadhyay, women police station in-charge Anuradha Girwal, SI Aradhana Raikwar, Heena Dabar, DCB Ganpat Singh, Devdas, Rameshchandra Badgurjar, constable Gopal patel and others were present. ASP Srivastava further informed that the cell should investigate whether any gang is active behind such cases. The same thing is applicable on person who goes missing.
The next step of the cell is to interrogate children and people who have been recovered with sensitivity. Sanjay Saxena of Human Welfare Society told that it should be investigated that whether the absconding of young boy and girl is natural or planned. Lady PCR, Woman police station, Women Cell and Shantidoot should be informed about any case of atrocity against women and children. Name of informer will be kept confidential.
