Academic improvements Educationists should give suggestions to govt: Jain

These views were expressed by Minister of School Education Paras Jain during the concluding session of daylong symposium organised at PGBT College under the aegis of Shiksha Sanskriti Uthan Nyas on Sunday.

Key speaker national secretary Atul Kothari said that the education system proposed by Macaulay is not followed by England and America at present but India is following the system. Government does not bring out change in the education system. It would provide only resources. Transition can be brought only at the social level. Collective efforts are required to bring drastic changes.

Special guest Simhastha Fair Authority and educationist Diwakar Natu in his address said that the present education system is unable to make a person’s character.

Corruption and fraud have become order of the day. Regional convener Ashok Kadel informed that about 294 participants attended the symposiums organised at 11 places in the State of Madhya Pradesh. A state- level symposium will be organised in the month of June 2014. Bharat Vyas conducted the programme while Dr Rakesh Dhand proposed the vote of thanks.
