Ujjain : The 60th State level School Sports Meet was inaugurated at Saraswati Higher Secondary School Mahakalpuram here on Monday. Minister of School Education Paras Jain was chief guest while Member of Parliament Dr Chintamani Malviya chaired the programme.
Addressing on this occasion, Minister Jain announced that players taking part in State level contest will be given DA of Rs 100 per day and sports kit worth Rs 500. State government has increased the sports budget. Motivating players, Jain urged them to play with good spirit and exhibit their best. He also asked coaches from 10 divisions for imparting their valuable suggestions for improvement in sports facility. National level player will be given DA of Rs 150 per day and sports kit of Rs 1200.
MP Chintamani Malviya in his address said that players should enjoy their game. He greeted players. MP Jan Abhiyan parishad Pradeep Pandey also addressed on this occasion. Padamja Raghuwanshi and Sandeep Nadkarni conducted the programme and DEO Rama Nahate proposed the vote of thanks.
