Ujjain : First National Convention of Sanskar Samuh Nyas was organized at Abhyudayapuram Gurukul Parisar on Barnagar Road, here on Sunday. The convention was organized under the aegis of Acharya Muktisagar Surishwar.
Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Thawarchand Gehlot was chief guest of the programme. In his address Gehlot said that degrees can be obtained from any college, but the degree with culture is not ensured by any college. Gurukul is the right place where students inculcate cultures. It is the need of hour that we cultivate cultures and morality in the next generation along with bookish knowledge. Minister of School Education Paras Jain, Nagda MLA Dilip Singh Shekhawat, MLA Ghattia Satish Malviya, Dean of Oriental University and Director Dr RK Jain, Dr Virendra Nahar and others addressed at the convention. Seer Muktisagar in his discourse said that children would not tread on right path unless they manage the balance of virtues. Schools are successful in disseminating bookish knowledge, but they are failed to breed service, culture and moral values in children. More than 400 office bearers joined the Convention. Yatish Bohra conducted the programme while Rahul Kataria proposed the vote of thanks.
