18 brass-pillars being erected in Mahakal

Ujjain : In the beautification row of Mahakal Temple now Nandi Hall of the temple is being beautified by erecting brass pillars. Total 18 brass pillars of different heights are being erected in the Nandi Hall to increase the splendour of the temple. The firm ‘Mother Garden Care’ of Jodhpur is decorating the Nandi Hall by erecting the majestic brass pillars. On an average 250 kg of brass are being used in each pillars by total cost of whopping Rs 50 lakh.     Owner of the firm, Javed Gauri informed that we are trying to create magnificence similar kind of the Golden Temple of Amritsar. Owner of the local unit of the firm Lokesh Agrawal has been coordinating the work of erecting the pillars. Donation boxes kept in the hall will also be covered by the brass plates to provide uniform look of the Nandi Hall.
