Ujjain : Bharatiya Gyanpeeth is going to organise the 12th All- India Goodwill Lecture Series from October 26 in the memory of Padma Bhushan Dr Shivmangal Singh Suman. The much awaited lecture series will continue till November 1. Renowned scholars will deliver their inspirational lectures during the week- long programme.
Addressing a press conference, Lecture Series organizing committee president and chairman of Bharatiya Gyanpeeth Krishnamangal Singh Kulshreshtha said hundreds of scholars had imparted their motivating lectures during the lecture series that has been organised since 2002. The main objective behind this event is to spread awareness in society.
Several national- level speakers have been invited for delivering their revolutionary views during the lecture series.
The series will start on October 26 at Bharatiya Gyanpeeth premises at 6 pm. Inaugural lecture will be delivered by Chunni Bhai Vaidya, a close fellow of Mahatma Gandhi on ‘ Non- violent ways to retaliate against injustice’. Gandhian thinker Kumar Prashant from Mumbai will deliver a lecture on ‘ Gandhi – Today’ on October 27. Famous social worker from Lucknow Rumana Siddiqi too will deliver a lecture on ‘ Participation of women in development of India’ on October 28. Pune based social worker and scribe Ramesh Ojha will deliver a lecture on ‘ Gandhi, a phenomenal personality’ on October 29.
On October 30, Chief Editor NaiDuniya ( Urdu) ShahidSiddiqiwill impart a lecture on ‘ Relevance of Gandhi’s ideas’. Chief Editor Lokmat Suresh Dwadashiwar will deliver a lecture on ‘ Society towards a change’ on October 31 while the concluding lecture on November 1 will be delivered by Director Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management Anil Shastri on‘ Ideas of Gandhi and Shastri in current reference’.
