BJP candidate from Bhopal constituency Sadhvi Prgya Thakur paid obeisance on Wednesday to lord Mahakal and performed abhishek and other religious rituals.

Municipal commissioner Prathibha Pal on Thursday held a meeting of ward nodal officers to know their ideas on making the city more beautiful. She also took account of cleanliness status in all wards. 

Bharatiya Janata Party organised a preparatory meeting ahead of election on Thursday at its office Lokshakti Bhawan. The meeting was organised by district BJP head Vivek Joshi, Pradeep Joshi and MLA Mohan Yadav.

On the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, several religious programmes will be held at Hanuman temples across the city on Friday.  In famous ‘Baba Bal Hanuman’ temple located in Mahakaleshwar temple, a 2-day recital of Akhand Ramayan began here on Thursday and on Friday, a replica of Lord Hanuman will be taken out in palanquin from the temple.
