While BJP and Congress have finalised names of their candidates from most seats, Indore has been put on hold.  With each passing day, the curiosity among leaders and activists is rising about MP’s commercial capital as both parties have not announced their candidates till date.

Congress on Friday fielded sitting MP Jyotiraditya Scindia from Guna parliamentary constituency. The party also announced candidates for Rajgarh and Vidisha seats.

The Congress on Friday fielded former union ministers Jyotiraditya Scindia and Manish Tewari from Guna (Madhya Pradesh) and Anandpur Sahib (Punjab), respectively.

While both BJP and Congress couldn’t decide their candidate from Indore, city Congress has been looking towards Jyotiraditya Scindia to come to Indore and penetrate BJP’s bastion.

AICC general secretary and state in charge and Deepak Bawaria said that party has finalised the names of 17 candidates for the Lok Sabha elections and the list will be announced shortly. Talking to media persons in New Delhi on Tuesday
