According to west discom officials, the QR code linked to Bharat Bill Payment will be printed on the electricity bills.
The company has introduced mobile payment scheme to strengthen its services in rural areas and to recover electricity bill amount easily.

The West Discom is thinking of targeting to include 20000 farmers of Malwa-Nimar region under the scheme.
A company official said that identification of such consumers has been started and prepaid meters will be installed from April 1.
Representatives from USA, Maldives, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and India would participate in the workshop.
