Mumbai: The Western India Football Association (WIFA) has implemented the All India Football Association’s (AIFF) Refereeing structure for states.
WIFA has put in place the Referees’ Board whose members are as follows: Walter Pereira, J. P. Singh, Dhanraj More, Siddharth Gade, Stanley Gregory, Rajendra Dalvi, Souter Vaz and Henry Menezes. WIFA Referees’ Board is ready with a new calendar to conduct recruitment courses and conduct tests throughout the year in line with AIFF’s Referees’ calendar. After the completion of the course the participants have to officiate 30 matches after which there will be a Referees Examination. Post which the successful candidates will be awarded the Referee’s Badge.
