Mumbai: Host Amateur Club riders had a filed day as tow of them were among the medal winners on the fourth day the Amateurs Riders’ Club hosted the National Equestrian Championship and Maharashtra Horse Show at the Mahalaxmi Race Course, here on Friday. It was the brothers Keevan Setalvaad and Zahaan Setalvaad who accounted for the gold and bronze medals respectively while Rishab Mehta spoilt their party claiming the silver.
Both Keevan and Zahaan are are the top riders who have donned the Indian colours at the Asian Games and good medal prospects for more international medals in future. It was astride Cherokee Kevaan saw the gold medal in his name, while Rishab Mehta atop Caprince bagged the silver while Zahaan Setalvaad riding Quintis accounted for the bronze. In the children jumping normal (90cms). Prasad Divadkar, Lola Hicks and Nikhil Mutha were the winners in that order.
