Mumbai: Khar Gymkhana’s Sanjiti Saha was one of the three individual record breakers as she won the 100m butterfly event in the girls group II category in the GMAAA Junior and Sub-junior Aquatic meet, sponsored by Glenmark Aquatic Foundation at Tata Swimming Pool, Chembur, here on Friday. Sanjiti clocked 01:09.12 secs, while bettering Rujuta Bhatt’s 2010 record of 01:09.12 secs. In group I, Kareena Shanka, of Forest Club, and Vendant Bapna of Glenmark Aquatic Foundatiion among boys set new marks in their respective events. Kareena improved on Monique Gandhi’s 2010 record, while, Vedant too improved upon his own 2010 50m backstroke timing of 00:29.08 by clocking 00:28.47 secs.
