Mumbai: Marc D’Souza struck twice as Mumbai Customs cruised into the summit clash with a 3-0 win over Central Bank of the Elite Division Rustomjee-MDFA League. They take on the winners of Air India and U Mumba in the final. At the Neville D’Souza ground, Bandra here on Wednesday, Customs led 1-0 cushion at the break. Customs dished out a strong determined performance and worked hard, but they struggled initially to break down the Central Bank resistance. However, their efforts paid off just on the stroke of half-time when D’Souza found the net in the second minute of additional period to go into the break with a slender 1-0 advantage.
After changing sides, Customs continued to pressure and struck two more goals with D’Souza netting his and the team’s second goal before Rosenburg fired home the third in the 73rd minute.
