Yuvraj Singh, the star behind India’s World Cup 2011 victory, is all set to start a new journey in 12th edition of IPL with Team Mumbai Indians (MI). Yuvraj, who has not played for a while for the national team, was picked up by Mumbai Indians during IPL 2019 auction.
About this upcoming stint with MI, he tweeted, “Looking forward to joining Hitman @Imro45 in the Mumbai Indians dressing room this season. Any hints on what to expect ?”.
MI captain Rohit Sharma replied to Yuvraj’s tweet asking to bring his usual passion to the game. Sharma also mentioned that rest of the things will be sorted out in dressing room. “Just bring your usual passion. The dressing room will sort out the rest. @NetflixIndia, have any tips?” he replied.
Yuvraj could not perform well with the bat in the previous season, managing just 65 runs in eight matches while playing for Kings XI Punjab. Yuvraj, however, has a great record in overall IPL tournaments, with over 2600 runs in 128 matches.
