Mumbai: Radio Club’s talented Razmi brothers, Rayaan and Shahyan, were on a roll and came up with steady, composed performances as they both convincingly won the first and second frames respectively, as Radio
‘Dragons’ thundered past Garware Club House outfit GCH ‘Graceful Garware’ by a quick 3-0 margin, in the Billiards & Snooker Association of Maharashtra organised Otters-BSAM Mumbai Snooker League, at the Otters Club billiards room.
The 16-year-old Rayaan (+20 handicap) was in complete control against GCH’s Siddharth Sogani (+45) and with a couple of tidy efforts easily won the 15-red first frame 97-77,
which set the tone for their victory. Later, 13-year-old schoolboy Shahyan was confidence personified and potted consistently against Bhavesh Jain (+45) in the 15-red second frame.
Shahyan grabbed every opportunity to make small useful breaks as he accumulated the points before racing to a fluent 103-66 win and help his team take a 2-0 lead.
