Mumbai : Mumbai Railway Police produced a brilliant combined performance to outplay Shree Mauli Mandal by a 6-0 margin in a one-sided Third Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League – 2014-15, played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel, on Wednesday evening.
The hero of Railway Police’s victory was striker Tanveer Shaikh who fired home a fine hat-trick. Shaikh’s teammates Santosh Aavhad, Sanjay Mangala and Allwyn Kanjilal, all chipped in with a goal apiece to complete the winning tally.
In other matches of the same division, Creek View SC tamed Kings Circle United 5-1 and Rahul Mitra Mandal overcame Daspatti VKM by a 4-1 margin.
