Mumbai : Pragnesh Solanki’s twin strikes were the highlight of PIFA Colaba FC’s 4-1 victory against Western Railway in an Elite Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League 2015-2016, and played at the Cooperage ground on Saturday. Syed U and Sohail Khatri got the other two goals for the winners, while Anil Pawar netted the lone goal for the losing side.

The Colaba team opened the scoring through a goal from Syed U. in the 21st  minute to take the lead before Pragnesh Solanki got the first of his two goals in the 23rd minute to double the lead and give the team a 2-0 half-time advantage. After switching ends, Western showed signs of a putting up a fight back when Anil Pawar found the target in the 58th minute to reduce the deficit. But, Solanki once again found the back of the net in the 67th minute to regain the Colaba team’s 2-0 (3-1 lead) cushion.
