Mumbai : The second TSA Open Speed Skating Championship, organized by The Skate Academy, will be held at the Somaiya skating track, Chunabhatti, on February 11 and 12.
The categories include Inline, Quad Imported, Quad Rubber, Recreation Inline, Speed Slalom and Relay. For entries and more details contact coach Ajay Shivlani of The Skate Academy (9768080580).
World rankers Anoushka Chandarana and Jaival Shah, district champion Kavya Lalwani, state and district winner and Hong Kong Open gold winner Khushi Shah, Riyansh Bhatia, Mihir Mehta, Ahaan Shah are among the many district, state and national medallists from over a hundred schools in Mumbai who will compete for honours along with others from Pune, Nashik and the rest of Maharashtra, at Mumbai’s only professional skating track.

Pro Classic snooker
The 8th Pro Classic snooker tournament for markers will be held from February 6 to 20 at the P.J. Hindu Gymkhana.
Markers from clubs and gymkhanas across Mumbai and Pune will feature in the competition in which the winner will receive Rs. 15,000 and the runner-up Rs. 8,000. Prize money will be offered right down to the pre-quarter-finalists, while Rs. 2,500 is reserved for the highest break.
Defending champion Mahadev Bhogle of JVPG, Amit Jadhav of Islam Gymkhana, Walter Menezes of Bombay Gymkhana, Samuel Selvan of Otters Club, Sunil Jadhav and Ajit Kobnak of are among the notable players.
