Badminton Association of India (BAI) vice-president TPS Puri said, “They are not participating in China Masters as they want to recover and train properly before playing in Japan.”

“It is nothing new because it was decided by the chief coach before the World Championship. After the IBL, they would be training at the camp in Hyderabad,” Puri informed. The Japan Open Super Series will be held in Tokyo from September 17-22.
