London: Manchester United mid-fielder Marouane Fellaini has revealed that the players were fined by coach Louis van Gaal for being ‘one minute’ late for lunch. The Dutchman, who is known for his strict discipline, wasn’t happy with the players and fined them when they were just sixty seconds late in turning up to the training ground canteen, the Mirror reported.

The Belgian midfielder said that the coach had been very strict with the players and has been issuing fines for late-comers, for a red card and even for a bad foul. Fellaini also claimed that the team would be a ‘machine’ next season under Van Gaal as the Dutchman was merely running in his players this term just like a new car.

He added that they had been practically doing the same exercises again and again and by the next season they would turn into a machine and emerge as a much stronger team.
