New Delhi : Riding on their maiden Grand Prix title triumph in the Mexico Open, Indian men’s doubles pair of Manu Attri and B Sumeeth Reddy on Friday jumped three spots to regain their career-best ranking of World No. 17 in the latest BWF rankings. While Saina Nehwal and P V Sindhu continued to be static at World No. 2 and World No. 12 respectively, Kidambi Srikanth, Parupalli Kashyap and H S Prannoy also remained at World No. 9, 15 and 20 spots respectively. Manu and Summeth, who defeated Thailand’s Bodin Issara and Nipitphon Puangpuapech in Mexico last weekend, had last achieved the World No. 17 ranking in August. Among others, women’s doubles pair of Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa slipped a place to 14th, while Ajay Jayaram gained a place to be 21st after his quarter-final appearance in Mexico in men’s singles.
