London: Gary Kirsten said he does not want to be considered for the job of England team director because of personal reasons. The ECB are said to be looking for someone who can lead the team in all three formats of the game, but former batsman Kirsten said his personal situation meant he could not be the man for the job. “It would have been a great challenge, it’s a high-profile sport. Whenever I’ve toured England I’ve always been amazed by the following. I have often wondered whether I could go in  and work in that environment.”
