Mumbai : Jai Bharat Sports Club struck prime form to inflict a 2-0 defeat on Kanara Bros Sports Club in a league match of the 20th Late Shri Ramanath Payyade Memorial Football League 2015-2016, organised by the Karnatak Sporting Association (KSA) and played at the KSA ground, Cross Maidan. The highlight of Jai Bharat’s comfortable victory was their energetic striker Valentine Pereira who struck both the goals to secure their win and to pocket all the three points. Meanwhile, Shreekrishna Sports Club failed to turn up for their match against Union Sports Club. The organizers gave a walkover to Union SC and awarded them three goals and three points.
