Head to Head
Overall: Matches played – 9, Sunrisers Hyderabad Won – 4, Mumbai Indians Won – 5.

Mumbai Indians, is the only team at this stage to have a confirmed passage to the play-offs, will add to their nine wins this season, as they will meet Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi stadium. Meanwhile, SRH will look to come all guns blazing in their penultimate match this season. The home team would be looking to improve their position in the points table. The last time when the two teams met, Mumbai registered an easy win by four wickets.

Mumbai on fire
In their recent outing, Mumbai humiliated Delhi Daredevils at their own home-ground, dismissing them for just 66 runs. MI’s all departments are firing for the two-time champions, who will now aim to finish the league stage among the top two. Early qualification will give MI the opportunity to rest any of seven players who have featured in all their eleven matches and give the guys on the bench a run in the middle. MI have lost just two matches this season.

Sunrisers have lost two consecutive matches with the last loss being a narrow one against the Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS). Sunrisers will have to win their remaining matches to cement their place in the top four. Their bowling line-up didn’t live up to its billing in the match against the Delhi Daredevils, while in the match against RPS, the batsmen underperformed and couldn’t chase down a modest total of 149. With SRH captain David Warner in dazzling form and Yuvraj’s mature innings in the middle order, the team will be hoping for them to continue their consistency and take them closer to the play-offs. Their batting line-up has three left hander- David Warner, Shikhar Dhawan and Yuvraj Singh in the top four and it will interesting to see how they go against Harbhajan Singh and Karn Sharma.
