Australia and New Zealand were among top contenders for winning the Women’s World T20. While on one hand, Australia have secured their place in the semis, New Zealand is out of the tournament. White Ferns failed to impress despite performing out of the box as they lost their 2nd consecutive game. However, a juggling act of White Ferns’ inform batter Suzie Bates didn’t fail to impress. Bates did a tumbling, double juggling act to dismiss Australia’s Ashleigh Gardner. It was one of the best moments of the day.
In the video, we can see Bates performing the juggling act to take the catch of Gardner. Although the umpire gave it ‘out’, he still went to third umpire to confirm his decision. The DRS confirmed that Bates cleanly took the catch and Gardner was out.
Talking about the ongoing World T20, we have witnessed some brilliant catches, with the first one taken by White Ferns’ Hayley Jensen to dismiss India’s Smriti Madhana. Jensen took a wonderful catch near the boundary line, shocking one and all.
