Mumbai: Defending champions Gujarat and Karnataka registered three wins in a row to qualify for the final of the All-India cricket tournament for the Blind, organized by The Blind Welfare Organisation (Nashik, India) and sponsored by Sahara India Parivar, on Thursday.
Gujarat, who beat West Bengal in their opening tie, recorded back-to-back wins over Maharashtra and Punjab to seal their place in the championship round. Karnataka, who beat Rajasthan in their opener, scored back-to-back wins over Andhra Pradesh and last year’s runners-up Tamil Nadu to advance to the title round.
